“No Visa Required (NVR) Sticker to Travel to Bangladesh” Endorsement:
Bangladeshi origin foreign citizens (except SAARC countries) are eligible for obtaining endorsement of “No Visa Required to Travel to Bangladesh” in their foreign passports. Their (foreign born) spouses and children are also eligible for this endorsement, which allows the holder multiple entries into Bangladesh with unlimited duration of stay within the validity of the passport.
Validity of NVR:
The ‘‘No Visa Required to Travel to Bangladesh’’ endorsement is valid as long as the passport remains valid on which it is affixed. The person can enter Bangladesh as many times as he/she wishes and can stay there without any time restriction within the validity of the passport.
Required documents to apply for No Visa Required (NVR).
To apply for a ‘‘No Visa Required to Travel to Bangladesh’’ endorsement, the applicant must submit the following documents:
- Duly filled-in Application Form for “No Visa Required to Travel to Bangladesh
- Two 45mm X 35mm photographs taken within the last six months.
- Original Foreign Passport, valid for at least six months.
- Photocopy of first 05 (five) pages of Bangladesh Passport (valid or expired) of the applicant, if the Applicant is a Bangladeshi by birth.
- In case of foreign born children: (i) Birth Certificate of the children and (ii) photocopy of first 05 (Five) pages of Bangladeshi passport of father/mother (valid or expired)
- In case of foreign spouse: Marriage Certificate and photocopy of first 05 (five) pages of Bangladesh Passport of spouse (valid or expired).
Please note that the Embassy of Bangladesh has the right to ask for any additional documents at any stage for scrutiny by the Consular Officer before rendering any services to the applicants.
